Matilda

This book is about a 5 year old girl which has brains of a super genious, well for a kid. She likes to read adult books and she goes to the town library every once in a while. She also knows very difficult times table like 231*456,she would know the answer and answer it in under 5-8 seconds! However, her parents do not appreciate and respect Matilda and her knowledge but teases her and their always mean to her, they even call her a liar when she tries to say that she can read a thick book or something like that. But whats 'cool' is that she has superpowers. Well not anything like invisibility or incredible strength. She has the power to move an obect using her brain and just staring at it. Road Dahl describes her power by saying that it looks as if millions of hands were flying towards the object to move it. She can lift an object a few inches, move an object or make it fall.
