Nightmare stairs is a book by Robert Swindells. It is a great book. It is very fun to read, I couldn't put it down. When you think you've just solved the mystery you are wrong. All the things that happen are described in good detail. My favorite part is when Kristy the main character is going to the halloween party, because it is scary and well described. On her way to the halloween party she has to take the dark and misty back way to the party. On her way there she meets her auntie. I would tell you the rest but then I am giving it away. I would really recommend this book to everyone. It is so good!
